Bob Beatty will present "Play All Night! Duane Allman and the Journey to Fillmore East." In this presentation, music historian Bob Beatty will explore the motivations and musical background of band founder Duane Allman, focusing specifically on Allman’s early career as a session musician at Muscle Shoals’ FAME Studios.
The program will be held in person at the Alabama Department of Archives and History (ADAH) in Montgomery. It will also be livestreamed through the ADAH’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Admission is FREE.
