Food for Life--How Foods Fight Diabetes

The class introduces the tools and lifestyle strategies to help individuals reduce the risk of developing diabetes and to manage and even reverse the disease.

The class is intended for those with diabetes, prediabetes, or a family history or risk factors for developing diabetes, and their adult family members and loved ones.

The class features nutrition education and a cooking demonstration. Participants will leave with a selection of affordable and easy recipes they can prepare at home.

The class is offered free of charge. A $20 donation to cover food and materials will be greatly appreciated.
