Food Donation Training for Businesses

Wholesome surplus food can be a drag on businesses who have to purchase and prepare it...only to throw it away if it doesn't get used. Knowing how and what foods can be safely donated helps your business manage its inventory, contribute to the community, and go easy on the environment. Project Green Fork helps you connect to local nonprofits via a software program that records all donations for both the donating and receiving parties. Federal and state law protect donations performed in good faith from liability.
Attendees will receive a $50 stipend for attending the training and signing up to donate surplus food. Businesses may send a maximum of two employees.
