Tales from the Table: A community gathering to taste, share & explore food stories On our table this month: Halwa To participate: • Share a story: Bring a nostalgic memory or a personal experience tied to this beloved dish • Read a piece or poem: Share a literary excerpt, passage or poem that celebrates halwa or explores its history • Bring halwa: Bring your favorite halwa to share with others (homemade by you or a loved one, from a restaurant, or a store) You can choose to do just one or more of these.
