Join us for Mexican-inspired tapas at Southeast Community College's renowned restaurant, Course, on the evening of February 20. Enjoy a culinary celebration of Sandra Cisneros's novella The House on Mango Street. Linked2Literacy is celebrating this coming-of-age masterpiece throughout the spring, and this event brings us together to share the spirit of the American Dream and identity in food, art, and storytelling.
In addition to delicious food prepared by student chefs at Southeast Community College's award-winning culinary school, there will be art activities and short readings by SCC writing students who will share their own stories of place and memory.
Tickets are $30 each and support the work of Linked2Literacy, the Lincoln Arts Council, and Southeast Community College. Feel free to drop in for as long as you'd like, anytime between 4:30 and 7.
