For our next event, we'll be closing the Fringe festival with UK heavyweights Dusky at The Mash House, Friday 26th of August.
Those with a keen ear can testify to Dusky’s influence in the sounds of UK house music over the last 10 years with a string of EP’s across pioneering labels Ajunadeep, Aus Music & Running Back Records. Last year they dropped their 3rd Album ‘JOY’, an eclectic mix of house, garage & jungle, acting as an effusive nod to their musical upbringing. They’ve been doing all this alongside running their own record label ‘17 Steps’, releasing projects from Bwana, Hugo Massien & Third Son.
Where they excel in the studio, they set the same high standards in the DJ booth, topping the bills of Parklife, Lost Village & even Glastonbury. Their sets sweep through the genre’s that act as the substratum of their productions and you can expect to hear anything from progressive house, UK garage & 2-step to breakbeat amongst other electronic goodness.
