FOMS 2024

FOMS, or the Foundations of Open Media Standards and Software, is a developer workshop run in an un-conference style with organized sessions as determined by the participants.

It's a meetup for software developers and tinkerers of all stripes to gather, collaborate, and lay plans for future open video technologies and standards.

FOMS provides a unique environment where open-source media technology developers, Web developers, browser vendors, and media standards developers meet to discuss open media software and web platforms as they pertain to multimedia applications.

We'd particularly like to encourage open-source media software developers to participate and gain further breadth in topics over the focused day of workshops.
