Mary Anne Anderson is hard to pigeonhole. She's a musician with a vast and varied body of work, a writer who moves easily across literary styles, and a multilingual who someone once said picks up languages the way a vacuum cleaner picks up dust. Her journey has carried her through Europe, Brazil, and across the United States before she found her happy place here on the valley isle of Maui. In "Follow Your Bliss: How I Ended Up in Paradise and Didn't Have to Die," she'll take us along a music-filled path from the challenges of childhood, through the labor of middle age, to the soul-satisfying life of purpose and joy. Her spiritual seeking has led her into churches, temples, mosques, sweat lodges, oceans, and forests—anywhere a semblance of worship can be found.
