Join us for an interactive conversation exploring how we can respond safely and effectively to whānau experiencing family violence. Using slides, videos, and kōrero, we will:Understand the impacts of family violence
Learn how to uphold dignity and mana when supporting others
Explore practical ways to offer support
Become familiar with help-seeking pathways available in our communities
This kaupapa is focused on those who may find themselves in helping roles — whether professionally, in the community, or within whānau. Together, we’ll strengthen our ability to respond with compassion, safety, and awareness.
Please note this kaupapa is adults only.
This kaupapa will be:
- Hosted at - Glen Innes Family Centre, 122 Elstree Avenue, Glen Innes
- Held on - Tuesday 30th September, 12.30pm - 2pm
- Lead wāhine will be - Emma from Prevent Digital Harm
All Mana Wāhine Week spaces are reserved for those who identify as female. This helps us protect the purpose of the kaupapa and create safe, empowering spaces for wāhine.
