Bring the whole family down for an early evening of live music, delicious drinks, and savory hand pies. This month's edition of Folky Folks features The Hasslers!The Hasslers, an alt-country/ Americana outfit from Seattle, WA were originally formed in 2012 by songwriter Matt Hassler in Missoula, MT. Combining lyrically lush songwriting, world class musicianship, and an infectious energy on stage, the band quickly rose to local success and in 2014 were featured on the main stage of the Red Ants Pants Music Festival as winners of the Emerging Artist Contest. Shortly after, they relocated to Seattle, WA, their base camp for the last 7 years while they’ve been recording and touring consistently, playing such notable stages as the Monterey Cowboy Festival and Upstream Music Festival, and providing support for artists the likes of Robert Earl Keen, Blitzen Trapper, and the Heartless Bastards. Their new full length “Sick Leave” will be released in 2024.
