This show features the band’s unique and powerful take on Christmas throughout the Celtic world. Songs range from driving rock to the sacred and from rollicking dance tunes to the hilarious. This family friendly event features dancers and a dramatic/humorous narrative to create a not-to-be-missed event. Come see why this show sells out year after year.
In a class by itself, Eireann’s Call is a dynamic Celtic Rock band with carefully curated songs providing a truly distinctive and tasteful take on the Celtic Rock genre. Their sound is intense and driving; their stage show is highly theatrical. The band’s instrumentation includes bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, guitars, bass, drums and tight vocal harmonies.
Eireann’s Call is: Catherine Doersch (drums/vocals), David Doersch (bagpipes, accordion, whistles, vocals), Rich McGuire (guitars, vocals), Chris Dawson (fiddle, vocals), Steve Smith (bass) and James Werning (keyboards). The band’s sound has been compared to a variety of globally famous acts including The Afro Celt Sound System, Loreena McKennitt, Celtic Woman and more.
