About this Event
Tommy Ashby, Jodie Marie and Lydia Clowes return to Temperance for the third time with their triple headline tour. Joining forces again for just a few special UK shows, the trio will play a mixture of each of their own songs along with some festive cheer. Expect a combination of folk, blues and lots of lush harmonies!
JODIE MARIE
Pembrokeshire based singer-songwriter Jodie Marie was signed to Decca Records / Universal Music in 2010 and began writing songs with former Suede guitarist and producer Bernard Butler and singer songwriter Ed Harcourt. She has released 3 critically acclaimed albums, and most recently EP 'Polar Night’ which was inspired by her time above the Arctic Circle with the indigenous Saìmi people. Jodie has supported the likes of Will Young, Ben Howard, Nerina Pallot, Callum Scott and Ed Harcourt on various tours. She has performed live on BBC Breakfast, and has received support from BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 4 (Loose Ends show) and BBC Radio 2 Live in Concert.

TOMMY ASHBY
Scottish singer-songwriter Tommy Ashby blends classic folk and blues influences with modern, textured production. Tommy’s music has been streamed over 40 million times on Spotify and has been used on TV programs such as Grey’s Anatomy, Riviera, BBC’s Gold Digger, Love Island, Netflix’s The Innocents and NBC’s Midnight Texas. Live he has supported the likes of Jamie Lawson, Nina Nesbitt, Tom Speight and many others, as well as touring as a session guitarist on the Ed Sheeran Divide tour around UK and Europe. Both Tommy’s albums, ‘Lamplighter’ and ‘Mantis', came out to much acclaim and have been played by BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Suffolk and BBC Radio Scotland. He also has three previous EP releases, one of which was a duet EP with Lydia Clowes, with whom he also appeared in Netflix’s Eurovision film. Tommy is currently releasing a new set of songs inspired by the plight of UK birds and the challenges they face, paralleling this with his own life experiences.

LYDIA CLOWES
Lydia Clowes has spent many years in the music industry as a session singer, providing vocals for films such as The Little Mermaid, Dune 2, Mission Impossible and more. She has performed backing vocals for artists including Ellie Goulding, U2, Tom Odell and Dermot Kennedy, and has been sampled by Fred Again.. and Brian Eno on three tracks. Having worked closely for years with artists Tom Speight and Tommy Ashby, Lydia began releasing her first folk-pop solo music in 2023 and has released a new EP this year which was playlisted on BBC Introducing Coventry & Warwickshire as their track of the week.
