Folk Arts Workshop at Chase Home - Pysanky Eggs

Decorate eggs using traditional Eastern European techniques.
Using beeswax and dyes, artist Ingrid Hersman will demonstrate methods to create your own pysanky eggs. Born and raised in Germany, Hersman was naturally drawn to family history and ancestral traditions. This journey to learn more about her heritage led her to teaching about pysanky.

This class is for ages 12 and up, children must be accompanied by an adult.
