Folias Duo and August the Duo come together for a special co-bill evening at The Stray; two duos and longtime friends sharing one stage. Flutist-composer Carmen Maret and guitarist-composer Andrew Bergeron of Folias Duo join vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Olivia Vargas and Marissa Peak of August the Duo for a night of original music, with each duo performing their own set before joining forces together.
For Folias Duo, this is also the official release night for Great Lakes; their ninth album, a song cycle inspired by each of the five Great Lakes, out August 14, 2026. This will be the first night you can own it. Copies will be available at the show!
