Friday October 7th we have TWO beers releasing: Foeder Tmavy & Max and Andrew's Phantasm Adventure Double Beer ReleaseIn the quest to make the juiciest hazy IPA out there, our brewers Max and Andrew put a new product to the test. Phantasm is powdered Sauvignon Blanc grape skins, and when added to beer, a chemical reaction occurs that unlocks more of the compounds that give hazy IPAs their tropical aroma. Max and Andrew dry hopped this beer with Motueka and Nelson to pack a punch of juicy melon, papaya, and lemon.
Foeder Tmavý is a 4 Noses take on a traditional Czech style dark lager. We brewed this beer using a triple decoction, specialty dark malts, and Saaz hops to create a full-bodied lager with a roasty aroma and light sweetness. As a nod to Czech brewing tradition, we fermented this lager in our oak foeder.
