Focused Reading Circle
About this Event
The Focused Reading Group for Our Stories Carried Us Here will create an intimate and welcoming space for intercultural dialogue, empathy, and shared storytelling.
Participants will read selected portions of the graphic novel together and discuss themes of immigration, identity, family, belonging, and cultural experience.
As part of the program, participants will share a common meal featuring special Ethiopian dishes, using food as another way to experience and celebrate culture.
