This first edition of Focus Tango Festival, Friday 10th of June 17:00 till Sunday 12th of June 00:30u 2022, will be a 3 day celebration of tango in the centre of Amsterdam, at the spectacular location Posthoornkerk.We feel honored to present, for the first time in Amsterdam, maestros Sercan Yiğit & Zeynep Aktar.
We will bring you 3 milongas, 4 workshops and 6 renowned dj’s.
DJ line-up; DJ Our Heijnen, DJ Lucas Malec 'El Tabernero', DJ Arjan 'el Irresistible', DJ La Gata Negra, DJ Lorena Garcia and DJ 'El Fresco'.
There will be special attention given to the history and development of tango in Amsterdam and the Netherlands, with a talk by Wouter Brave on Saturday and a live set by Juan Carlos Tajes accompanied by pianist Christa Mieras on Sunday.
The Opening Milonga on Friday will be presented by Juan Carlos Tajes and the Grand Milonga on Saturday by Martine Berghuijs.
