The Comprehensive Plan (or Comp Plan) is a big-picture guide for our borough for the next 20 years, covering things like housing, land use, economic development, and transportation. It helps guide policies, housing and business development, public investments, and other planning efforts.
This is a big document, and it covers a lot of topics. If you don’t have time to look through each page, we encourage you to use our guide to find the topics that are most important to you.

• Printed copy: Borough Office Building at 907 Terminal Street in Fairbanks (we will have a few copies you can view at our office)

TIPS FOR COMMENTING
• We appreciate you letting us know what we got right and what we can make better
• It helps if you tell us the reason behind your comment
• If you know a lot about a particular subject or area, please look closely at that part of the plan to be sure we didn’t miss anything
• Focus on the implementation strategies—that’s the part of the plan that will most directly guide the borough’s actions and investments over the next 20 years
