It's time for FMRD's summer tryouts of 2023! This will be a 2 day event with on and off skates portions. This tryout is open to all individuals 18 and up who identify as female.
SPACES ARE LIMITED!!! Tryouts are FREE! YOU MUST SIGN UP!

OFF SKATES Day 1
MON JUL 17th - Arrive by 7:00pm
This will be an assessment of your off skates abilities as well as your POSITIVE ATTITUDE! Derby is not all about the wheels...
Bring water and come ready to work out in tennis shoes and athletic clothing.
We will have a Q&A session with training where you will learn what it takes to be a derby player, and to answer any questions!
Then it's off to the gear locker where we will help everyone get fitted for gear (unless you bring your own - loaner gear is offered!) and possible short skate session before we wrap for the day.
ON SKATES Day 2
FRI JUL 21st - Arrive by 7:40pm
Time to gear up and show us what you can do on wheelie shoes! Protective gear and skates will be provided if you don't have your own - however you will be required to bring your own mouthguard and of course WATER (your choice of hydration is also certainly welcome, sports drinks/coconut water/etc...).
After practice all are welcome to roll out to our game afterparty spot for meet n mingle with FMRD
