FMA EP Lunch&Learn – Adaptive Stormwater Management with Opti

Laney Nelson, P.E. is the FMA EP Committee Bay Area Regional Event Coordinator. Laney has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Civil Engineering fromCal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and has 6+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer for various consulting firms in the Bay Area, including Woodard & Curran and Arup. Laney recently started working as a Senior Solution Engineer for Opti, the leading provider of digital adaptive stormwater control solutions. Laney works with communities to assess how continuous monitoring and adaptive control (CMAC) technology can help them address the impacts of climate change, aging infrastructure, urbanization, and water pollution.
