Future for Lompoc Youth (FLY) is proud to announce the official dedication and Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting for FLY’s Mural Project 2025, taking place on Thursday, August 14th at 4:00 PM at Lompoc High School.This vibrant new mural is more than just paint on a wall—it is a bold testament to youth creativity, collaboration, and community pride. Over the course of five weeks, students from schools across the Lompoc Unified School District worked side by side under the guidance of local artist Vantsa to bring their vision to life. Sponsored by FLY, this powerful project has provided young people with the tools, mentorship, and space to transform their ideas into lasting public art.
Participants immersed themselves in the full mural-making process — from brainstorming and sketching to design, preparation, and execution — resulting in a piece that reflects the heart, energy, and future of Lompoc’s youth.
