Flying Up Moon Crone Circle

As many names as there are for cultures in our world, there are even more names for the moon. The full moon in August is known by many names: The Surgeon Moon, Corn Moon, Barley Moon, Black Cherry Moon but my favorite of all that I could find was the Flying Up Moon. "Flying Up Moon" is a traditional Native American name—originating from the Cree people—for the August full moon. It describes the late-summer period when young birds fledged and learned to fly from their nests.
