Discover the Flying-foxtail trail. Pick up your passport and follow the map to the wonderful world of bats at your favourite bars and clubs in Cairns and Kuranda.

Try out a bat themed cocktail or mocktail and get your passport stamped at each venue. Discover why you should thank a bat as you drink these heavenly concoctions.

Did you know flying-foxes and some smaller fruit and nectar eating bats are responsible for pollination and seed dispersal of many tropical fruits, sugar cane and the agave cactus- the prime ingredient of tequila! Don’t forget to vote for your favourite cocktail or mocktail. Prizes to be won. Photograph or scan your completed bat passports and send to [email protected] or show us at the Bat Festival or the Bat cave at Ecofiesta.
