Flying Circus Big Band

Led by Dr. Scott Belck, director of Jazz at UC's famed Conservatory of Music (CCM), the Flying Circus brings the classics of the Big Band era to life. You'll want to jump up and dance to the timeless sounds of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, and more.

Formed in 2017 as a collaboration between legendary Cincinnati drummer John Von Ohlen and Belck, the Flying Circus is truly Cincinnati's Dream Band for dancing and listening. The players are among the nation's top players and veterans of bands from Glenn Miller, Ray Charles, Woody Herman, Tommy Dorsey, and have played the top shows and acts nationwide. We know you'll dig the band, so come on out, bring your dancing shoes, or kick back and enjoy a cool one with the cats.

$10 drink minimum charged per person in the party, per set, if the total for beverages purchased by the party does not meet the minimum.

• If you do not check-in by 15 minutes into the start of the set, we reserve the right to resale your seats with no refund to you.
• There are no refunds within 24 hours of the start of the performance.
