Fly Fishing Fitness—Women’s Workshop

We are thrilled to host this workshop a SECOND time, this time in collaboration with NW Sports & Exercise Medicine. Ladies, this is your chance to get stronger for the sport you love--so you can cast farther, spend longer days on the water and have fewer aches at the end of the trip.Join Erin LaHonta, DPT & Laura Fralich, MD—healthcare providers and fellow fly fishing enthusiasts, for a women-only hands-on workshop. We'll cover:

• Power and endurance to bulletproof your shoulders for long casting days
• First aid to manage common mishaps on the water
• Education on how targeted strength work makes fishing more fun
• Strategies to stay safe and injury free in the wilderness

Then, we'll trade the dumbbells for drinks and waders for wine at a post-workshop happy hour social. Swap fishing stories, meet other women who love the sport, get some free health advice from Erin & Laura, and maybe even plan your next trip together.
