The Arkansas Fly Fishers with the support of Presenting Sponsor Fish On! Custom Rods are bringing back The Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) to central Arkansas’ CALS Ron Robinson Theater! The theater is equipped with a state-of-the-art DCI-compliant Barco digital cinema projection system, and 32’ wide screen, and a Dolby 7.1 surround audio sound system. This is a first class way to watch some amazing fly fishing cinema! This has become an annual effort for AFF and others to come together for fun and fellowship in a way that allows us to advance conservation, education, and restoration efforts in Arkansas--AFF will direct profits from this event to programs and efforts that do just that. We already directly support programs for veterans, youth, cancer survivors, conservation, and more. This grows our capacity.
Doors will open at 4 pm and the show starts at 6 pm. Wine, beer, snacks, and other refreshments will be available. Make plans to come before the show so you have plenty of time to look around and meet fellow fly fishers.
We will raffle a variety of great items the night of F3T! Each ticket purchased will have an opportunity to win one of thousands of dollars’ worth of fly fishing prizes and guide trips from these local fly fishing guides: Kim Dollin’s Ryder’s Run Guide Service, Drew Friday’s Friday Fly Fishing, Cody Griffin’s Fin & Feather Fly Fishing, Casey Hughes’ Aux Ark Guides, Matt Milliner’s Rising River Guides, John Pineda’s Reel Good Fishing, Evan Smedley's Ouachita Fly Anglers, and Mike Winkler’s Little Red River Fly Guides/Little Red Fly Fishing Guide Service. Prizes include items like Lowell Myers leather goods, Jamison Mosely custom art, a beautiful net from Ethan Iglehart’s Stonefly Nets PLUS items from FishOn! Custom Rods, Scientific Anglers, Orvis (including a sweet boat bag), Yeti, Costa sunglasses, Rambler tying tools, Yakoda, Benchmade knives, an Airlite Rod, Stranahan, Drew Kelso tying table and cutting board, Fishpond, Galvan reels, Thomas & Thomas, TFO, and more! We are adding items all the time!
We expect to have a lot of fellow fly fishing and conservation organizations on hand including representatives from our local Project Healing Waters programs, Casting for Recovery Arkansas, the Mayfly Project, Little Red River Foundation, Trout Unlimited Chapter 722, the Arkansas Canoe Club, the Arkansas Native Fish Coalition and more. Expect to be able to meet and talk fly fishing with some of the best in Arkansas!
