Who Should Take the Fly Fishing 203 Class?
This 1 1⁄2-hour class is for casters who have completed the Fly Fishing 201 & 202 classes. Casters who have spent time practicing what they learned in the earlier classes, especially focusing on practice to achieve narrow loops, will benefit the most from this class.
Each 1 ½ hour class is limited to 10 participants
Why Should You Take the Fly Fishing 203 Class?
While much of the fishing in Colorado doesn’t require casting distances more than 30 ft, there will certainly be times when casting to greater distances is useful and/or necessary. Casting accuracy is always useful regardless of the distance. In this class we build on skills we learned in the Fly Fishing 201 and 202 classes and apply those skills to improve both distance casting and accuracy. It’s the perfect next step for those anglers who have made improvements in their casting because of their completion of the 201 and 202 level casting classes.
What Will We Cover?
Fly Fishing 203 stresses Accuracy and Distance:
- Accuracy: You’ll learn about the secret “gun sight” we have in our casting and some of the secrets of competitive fly-casters . Additionally, we help you with:
- Judging Distance
- Adjusting Trajectory
- Distance: We teach you the most important skills for distance as well as four (4) key adjustments needed to gain additional distance.
