Calling all of the non-traditional creators and rule breakers, who want a different kind of paint-night experience.
Description:
Learn how to paint with fluid acrylic art with local Merrimack Valley Artist Jenna Amara.
Painting is more than just a hobby. Studies have shown that painting relieves stress, expands creative growth, improves memory, and even enhances problem-solving and motor skills. How can one activity provide all of these benefits?
Artistic endeavors provide an emotional release to the stress we all encounter each day. It also gives more analytical thinkers an opportunity to exercise their creative side and sharpens the mind through concept visualization. Finally, painting is just fun, and experimenting, trying, and figuring things out is a great way to grow personally.
Jenna creates a safe space for creators to experiment with colors, new techniques, and have a few hours to relax.
This evening of fun-filled painting will introduce you to two main Fluid Acrylic Painting techniques on 8 x 10 canvas and a bonus technique as a thank you for joining us. Each month we cover new techniques, see the schedule below to see what techniques we'll be teaching.
You will leave with a box to house your beautiful pieces of art so that you keep your car clean.
Things to keep in mind:
Fluid Acrylic Pouring is messy, please wear clothes you don't mind if you get paint on them. We do provide aprons but it is always best to dress for the activity.
What to bring:
All art supplies are provided by the studio.
A great attitude and the desire to have fun!
We are a BYOB studio, which means you can bring whatever beverage you'd like as you paint with us. We have a coffee bar, tea, and water as well.

September 2022 - Double Dip, Traveling Cup, Dirty Pour
October 2022 - Dirty Reverse Cup, Dual Color Striation, Ribbon Pull
November 2022 - Loose Tree Ring, Double Dip, Balloon Kiss
December 2022 - Masked Double Dip, Reverse Bloom, Dirty Pour
This is one example of a fluid art that has been digitized. Notice the layers of colors, the cells, and the composition. This was all done by pouring paint and mixing with water and paint medium. No paintbrushes were used.
