Floyd Nation returns to Ruth Eckerd Hall to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' album on the Wish We Were There Tour!In 1975, Pink Floyd’s legendary members—David Gilmour, Rick Wright, Roger Waters, and Nick Mason—embarked on a journey to create a follow-up to ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ at EMI Studios, now the world-famous Abbey Road Studios. Despite a tumultuous start, what emerged was the 6x Platinum masterpiece ‘Wish You Were Here’ which remains one of the greatest rock albums of all time. 50 years later, Floyd Nation proudly carries the torch by celebrating this milestone with the ‘Wish We Were There Tour’ celebrating 50 years of the iconic Pink Floyd album!
As a pilgrimage to where it all began, in January 2025 Floyd Nation had the distinct honor of recording an album at Abbey Road Studios (the 1st Pink Floyd tribute in history) further solidifying their deep connection to the band’s legacy. The spirit of Pink Floyd, along with the countless legends who have passed through those hallowed halls, remains a living force within Floyd Nation as they bring their extraordinary live show to cities across the USA!
