Flowing Through Change: A Yoga Workshop for Perimenopause & Menopause
2.5 hour yoga workshop specifically designed to support women through the physical and emotional changes of perimenopause and menopause.
This workshop combines education, breathwork, movement, and deep rest to address some of the most common challenges of hormonal transition — including hot flashes, disrupted sleep, anxiety, joint discomfort, and mood changes.
Workshop includes:
Breathwork: Cooling and regulating pranayama techniques, including Shitali breath and extended-exhale breathing for nervous system support.
Therapeutic movement: Weight-bearing poses for bone density, hip and pelvis opening, and restorative postures to ease tension and support hormonal balance.
Yoga Nidra: A guided deep relaxation practice to address fatigue, sleep disruption, and emotional overwhelm.
Education & discussion: A brief, accessible overview of the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause, and how yoga specifically supports this transition.
Take-home resources: A written guide including key poses, breathwork practices, and a suggested 15-minute daily home routine.
Suitable for all levels, including beginners. Props provided. The room will be kept cool for comfort.
