Flowers, Food & Rainbows is a collaboration between Llandovery Farmers Market, Heart of Wales LGBTQ+ and Llandovery in Bloom! Coming together for a fun-packed day of food, fun and entertainment! Farmers and Crafts Market! Llandovery Pride! Llandovery in Bloom Awards!
From 10-2pm come along to the market to buy your local food and drink from a range of local farmers, crafters and makers. You can expect fresh veg, beef, lamb, mutton and pork products, charcuterie, goats and sheep cheese, honey, chutneys and marmalades, mushroom tinctures *NEW*, tasty gluten-free cakes, doggie treats and wooden kitchenware, goat's milk soaps, jewellery, spirits and liquors. You can also buy pollinator-friendly plants and fresh flowers. Street food includes pies and snacks, burritos and tacos.
The Pride parade around town starts from Market Square with the Mayor's opening speech at 11am. Come and join in and show your support for the local LGBTQ+ community. Various performers will showcase their talents on the soapbox stage at the market during the day. These include:
Ice Amour (she/her) - drag performer, incredible aesthetic and full of joy.
Karen Brewer (she/her) - poet and musician.
Dan Axe (he/him) - acoustic guitarist and singer, doing all the classics from Kylie to Freddie Mercury.
Andromeda Belle (she/her) - baby queen and belle of the ball.
Danny Tose (they/she) - original Welsh songs and read Welsh folk.
At 1.30pm we will celebrate Llandovery in Bloom with its Awards Ceremony.
That will be followed by more music from Liam J Edwards (they/them) - Popera star and S4C’s Y Llais finalist. At 6pm it will be time to go to The King's Head for the Pride Cabaret! Scan the QR code on the poster to book your tickets now!
