Join us for a morning of plant awareness and fun! We’ll start in the classroom, discussing features of dogwood, honeysuckle, hydrangea, rose, and mint plant families and locally grown genera and species of plants. We’ll enjoy a stroll around the Oregon City campus looking at flowering plants and trees and how they’re used in our landscape. We’ll finish with a low-stakes quiz to see if you can identify all 30 samples we’ve talked about in the last few hours. You’ll be provided with an internet link to the walk we took, showing the location and names of the plants we discussed.
