Led by Barb Jacobson, Florida Flower Show Judges President 2025-27
and belongs to the Lemon Bay Garden Club located in Englewood, Florida.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Purpose: Practice petite designs for entry in the WANDERLUST Flower Show. For this workshop, designs will not exceed 12 inches in any direction, as specified in the 2027 Flower Show Schedule.
Petite Design is a design ranging from 3" to 12." Schedule to determine height, width and depth as well as any additional staging provided. Additional staging provided by exhibitor is considered as part of the height requirement. The 2027 Schedule states the design is not to exceed 12" in any direction.

Panel Design is a Creative Design using a structural panel/s as an integral part of the design.

Abstract Designs are Creative Designs that go a step further. These designs have a dominance of abstraction. Plant material and other optional components are selected and/or organized in a non-naturalistic or non-representational manner.

PLEASE BRING

• For Petite Panel Design: Mat board, foam core (3/16" or thinner), frosted/colored acrylic (Plexiglass), or clear acrylic sheet, etc.
• For Petite Abstract or Panel Design:
• • Small container or holder for your design — PLEASE DON’T FORGET!
  • A few small materials with interesting shapes, lines, textures, and colors. Bright colors are welcome!
  • Fresh or Dried Plant Materials: Petals, blossom parts, florets, small leaves, berries, buds, grasses, seed heads, pods, herbs, twigs, bark, vines, or dried citrus.

Bring what inspires you—small quantities are perfect for petite designs!

BRING YOUR DESIGN TOOL KIT (don't forget your CLIPPERS) Wire cutters • Floral knife • Florist wire & tape • Glue dots • Towel or work mat

SUPPLIES PROVIDED-Pam will provide U-glue, water tubes, Oasis, and some additional floral materials. Please bring your own plant material and container.
