👩‍🏫Led by Janice Hamlin, Certified FFGC Floral Design Instructor from Manatee River
🌸After a brief presentation, we’ll work together to create our own Construction Designs in a fun, hands-on workshop!

WORKSHOP DETAILS
Purpose

• Learn about Construction Design - a creative design with a strong architectural characteristics using geometric form or forms combined into a single three-dimensional unit.
• Prepare to enter your design in the 2027 WANDERLUST Flower Show.
• DESIGNS ELIGIBLE FOR DESIGNER’S CHOICE AWARD. HB pg. 42. Plant material may be dried, treated dried and/or fresh. Exhibitors have freedom to choose other components within NGC policies.

What to Bring

• Your Own Plant Material: Fresh, dried, or treated dried materials (e.g., Curly Willow, Driftwood, Flex Grass, Sea Oats, Fan Palm, Foxtail Fern, Orchids, Air Plants).
• Your Floral Tools: Clippers, wire cutters, floral knife, florist wire & tape, glue dots, oasis, a towel/mat.
• A container or holder for your design.
• Note: Pam will provide extra u-glue, water tubes, oasis, and some supplemental floral materials. But remember to bring your primary plant material.
