Flower Power: A Creative Art and Connection Experience
About this Event
Desined for beginners and creatives alike, this guided workshop is all about creating two floral-inspired prjects in a welcoming, and heart centered space. Guided by Brittney, participants will get to create and reflect inward through out the time spent together.
First, guests will be painting with acrylic paint and makers, creating mini paintings on premium canvas paper. You'll be exploring vibrant color, patterns, and nature in a relaxing, calm way while learning about Flowers and their scientifically proven ability to reduce stress.
The second project will involve focusing inward and assembling a beautifully layered wooden art piece for your home. Its perfect for setting on a shelf or hanging on the wall.
Besides the art process, there will be fun stations set up with affirmations cards and books to interact with if you want during the workshop.
Note From Guide: Hi, I'm Brittney- an artist, host and believer in the power of creativity. As someone who has expierenced trauma and loss, I'm passionate about designing art workshops that can support emotional well-being while feeling playful, inspiring, and kind. My intention is that you feel comfortable, have fun and create art that brings you joy in your home.

Location: Fisk DIY art studio is located in downtown Waukesha on Grand Avenue. Street parking is available.
Fruit Water and light refreshments will be provided. If you need to bring a snack for yourself, you are allowed to do so.
The event is listed as 2 hours and 30 min because I want people to feel comfortable to interact/chat and create but you're welcome to leave at 7:30 if done earlier.

Painting Flowers and Exploring Color
Info: Create a collection of miniature floral artworks while experimenting with color! Brittney will show you simple techniques to create different floral shapes. You will be creating your art on premium, artist professional, canvas paper while playing with acrylic paint and markers.

Assemble and Personalize Bohemian Flower Wood Art
Info: Brittney has prepared and cut out a beautiful, bohemian feel, art project using wood. You will get to assemble and personalize the second layer with paint if you don't want to keep it natural. The project size is approximately 6" by 8". It's cute on a bookshelf or you can attach hardware to hang on wall.
