Come explore the ancient art of Flower Pounding with Julie Carter of Buffalo Makers Hub. Flower pounding is a beautiful way to make botanical prints on fabric. With a little pounding, pigment from the flowers transfers easily to the fabric and we are left with a colorful and beautiful textile. You will have the option to make a tea towel and/or market bag and all materials will be provided. No particular skills are required which is also why this Textile Tuesday workshop will feel so satisfying! Bring a few friends and hammer out those stressors together!
