About this Event
Flower Cloth: Cross Stitching Colors
The Threads of Belonging mural centers the Hmong “house” motif—a symbol of family, memory, and the longing for home felt across the diaspora. In this workshop, we transform rainbow colored thread into “flower cloth,” exploring the vibrant color, pattern, and texture of traditional Hmong needlework. Whether you’re new to stitching or experienced, this is a relaxed environment to learn, experiment, and connect.
This event is part of the Threads of Belonging workshop series—a handwoven mural project coming to Sacramento.
