The antidote to our busy lifestyle.
This class offers a rejuvenated time to find peace and stillness in the mind, body and spirit.
Class begins with a gentle yoga flow known as a "moon salutation" to start the flow of energy, chi, prana. The last half of the class we will focus on holding yin postures for several minutes folowwed by a healing sound bowl savasana

In Yin yoga we avoid the use of muscles and instead focus on creating lasting structural change to the fascia ( connective tissues) throughout the body. What may be holding you back may not be the flexibility of your muscles, it may be that your ligaments and joints are too tight.
We will utilize in studio props, such as yoga blocks, bolsters or straps to help us find our edge. We will find the "middle way" instead of deep stretching. This will help improve circulation, joint mobility, flexibility, range of motion and improve internal organ function.
Benefits are not purely physical, but also cause a gentle mind/spirit detox to wellness by lowering stress levels and sleep.
