Flow + Breathe at the park

We are beyond thrilled for this outdoor event as we will also be debuting our "silent disco" headphones. These headphones allow for an embodied experience as outside noises are muted and the sound of the music and guide from the coach will immerse you in the internal experience.

This special night will include some light and restorative yoga poses (30 minutes), followed by guided breathwork and meditation (40 minutes) and opportunity for connection afterwards. Come ready to soak in the beauty of the summertime, RELAX, walk barefoot in the grass, laugh, come back to your center, and connect with like minded people in the community.

*specific Wash Park meeting location will be sent out the day before the event. If weather is an issue, we will switch the location indoors at KALO Fitness (1077 S Gaylord St).

Here is a little more about the breathwork piece:

Breathwork is an embodiment experience. It takes you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. It lets you release unneeded energy within this network caused by repeating thoughts, feelings, and old narratives by discharging it out through your body. In this breathwork series we will begin with techniques designed to regulate the nervous system. From there will move into concious connected breathwork, a technique designed to clear stuck energy and return us back to baseline. We will finish with calming techniques to ground back into the body.

Whether you are new to breathwork or an OG, this is for you. There is always more to learn, and as we always say "life is better being a forever student."

This class will be led by KALO Co-Owner, Jourdan Baldwin, who has extensive practice with many different breathwork techniques from her yoga teacher training, XPT certification and mentorships in somatic breathwork. Jourdan credits breathwork with a huge part of her evolution, ability to understand how to feel and process emotions, and understanding of how to regulate the nervous system, creating resilience in the face of lifes stressors. In addition, Jourdan creates beautiful sound journeys designed around tempo, deep emotional connection and harmony within oneself. This combined with the breathwork creates a truly impactful experience.
