Join Helen Ridley Illustration and Jodie Rose Calligraphy for a creative and rejuvenating full day retreat at The Garden Museum, in The Museum of Farnham. Discover the joy of creating art while surrounded by like-minded individuals in a serene and inspiring setting.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of watercolour painting and calligraphy at this in-person event which is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.
The retreat will be hosted by Helen Ridley and Jodie Rose with a guest Mindful Breathing workshop hosted by Breath Coach, Sharon Swyer.
Helen will be teaching an Autumnal Florals Watercolour Workshop, which will explore colour mixing, shape and form studies, to give you confidence to create loose and expressive florals.
You will be working from fresh floral arrangements of seasonal flowers arranged by Helen.
Jodie will host a wonderfully Mindful Modern Calligraphy Workshop which will guide you through techniques to create modern calligraphy.
The day will finish with a Mindful Breathing Workshop from guest host Sharon Swyer Breathe. She will give you the tools to explore breathing exercises to ground and relax you at the end of a serene and inspiring day.
You will receive a goody bag with all the materials you need for each workshop, as well as a welcome drink, a delicious buffet lunch and hot drinks throughout the day.
