FLOTSAM! River Circus - ST. LOUIS #3

Flotsam River Circus is returning to St. Louis on Sunday, August 23rd!
Flotsam is a troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers who travel on a handmade raft, giving free performances in riverfront towns along the way.
We'll be performing at the St. Louis Riverfront, just South of the Eads Bridge - near Gateway Arch Park. Look for the most unusual 'boat' on the water — that's us!
Our show is family-friendly, but intended for audiences of all ages. The performance starts at 6:30 pm and will be finished before 8:00. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and come early for a good spot! NOTE: the cobblestone levee is uneven and may be steep for some people. There is a flat area along the top of the levee that is more accessible for wheelchairs.
The show is free to attend, but we keep this project afloat through donations. We suggest $10–$25 per person. Cash is welcome, or you can Venmo us at @rivercircus. We are a 501c3 non-profit, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Please consider taking transit, biking, carpooling, or teleporting. The location is a short walk from the Laclede's Landing Station on the Red and Blue lines. Paid parking is available along the levee itself, which is usually cheaper than the lots downtown. You can drive onto the Levee from Chouteau Avenue, near the "Mural Mile."
We hope to see you there — and please spread the word! We are also performing at the same location on the 21st and 22nd.
***
St. Louis is the first stop on our 2026 Tour of the Illinois Waterway. Over the next month, we'll be traveling up the Mississippi to the Illinois River, performing in a bunch of towns, all the way to Chicago! See our full schedule at:

A HUGE thank you to the St. Louis Port Authority and the City of St. Louis for welcoming us!
