Come see FLOTSAM! River Circus in Huntington, WV on Saturday. August 31st.FLOTSAM! is a troupe of musicians, circus artists, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft, giving free performances in riverfront towns along the way.
We are performing at Harris Riverfront Park at the riverfront amphitheater (right below 10th St.) Look for the unusual 'boat' along the river - that's us!
Our show is kid-friendly but meant for ALL ages.
Performance starts at 6 pm and should be done by 7:30.
Bring a blanket or pillow, and come early for a good spot!
The show is FREE, but audience donations are how we keep this crazy project afloat. You can bring cash, or send donations by Venmo to 'rivercircus'.
Parking in the area is limited - so if possible, please try to carpool, bus, bike, kayak, or teleport. For people considering coming by boat, please note that our show is made to be viewed from the shore - and we'd prefer if other boats aren't out behind us during the performance.
Huntington is just one stop on our 2024 Ohio River Tour. We'll be traveling nearly a thousand river miles across six states and giving 38 performances in towns from Pittsburgh to Paducah!
We will also be performing in the same location on Friday, August 30th, and in Ironton on Sunday, Sept 1st.
