This week we’ll be digging into the fascinating world beneath our feet and learning why healthy soil is the foundation of healthy ecosystems, gardens, and food systems. Kids will explore our composting systems, get their hands dirty, and discover the important role worms and decomposers play in nature.
Kids will make and take home:
• Worm Composting Farm
Our classes are fully outdoors in a thoughtfully designed permaculture learning space created by a Certified Permaculture Designer and National Geographic Certified Educator. A Wild Home is also recognized as a Certified Eco-School through the National Wildlife Federation.
