One of Florida's main events is back with another killer weekend in store for everyone!! I get pretty pumped up about this one every year. ?The events kick off Thursday night with a NO Entry (FREE!) tournament, an introduction to the Classics! Your IFPA endorsement will be covered at the door. Even if you don't plan on attending any of the other events, ALL are still welcome to participate in this one. No preset pinball skills needed! Just come have fun with us! Starts Thursday September 29th 6pm.
This year we added more days and tournaments to accommodate as many players as possible. There will be many awesome, custom-made, one-of-a-kind prizes, as well as pinball swag, gift cards, and more! Also, to continue the tradition of the last few years....
1st place A-Division:
A PINBALL MACHINE! (Title TBD)
1st place B-Division:
A NEW Stern Playfield!

-CLASSICS 3-strike tournament- FREE!
Format is as follows:
4 player games (0,0,1,1)
3 player games (0,0,1)
2 player games (0,1)
Last person standing wins!

-HIGH SCORE CHARITY TOURNAMENT
Starts Thursday (9/29) @ 6 pm and runs until Saturday (10/1) @ 5pm.
(Open for qualifying while any other pro-am tournament is simultaneously running.)
$1 IFPA per player + $2 per attempt.
*50% proceeds go to high score winner
*50% proceeds will be donated to Project Pinball!

-PINGOLF
Qualifying starts Thursday (9/29) @ 4pm-10pm and continues Friday (9/30) @ 2pm-7:30pm. (Last group can start course at 6:15pm. Finals @ 8pm Friday)
Each card will be for 9 holes. Players can play as many cards as they want within the qualifying timeframe! $25/card
Top half of the qualifying field (up to 24), with the lowest verifiable score cards will move on to the finals.

-CHARITY qualifying continues!
-PINGOLF qualifying continues!

-PINGOLF Finals start @ 8pm.
Finals will consist of randomized single game matchplay. The players with the lowest 2 scores are eliminated each game.
The remaining 2 players will be reassigned a new game, and new opponents. This will continue until there is 1 person left.
--FINALS GROUPS ARE RANDOMIZED MATCHPLAY BY SOFTWARE--

-WOMEN'S TARGET MATCHPLAY
Starts @ 7pm. First player to reach 36 points wins! (7-5-3-1) format. There will be at least 6 games played!
36 player cap, $15 buy-in.

SATURDAY, OCT 1st
FLORIDA PROFESSIONAL AND AMATEUR TOURNAMENT BEGINS!
**GROUP MATCHPLAY - $60 entry fee per player
Schedule is as follows-
9:30am- CHECK-IN
10am- START Pro-am! Qualifying session #1.
1pm- Qualifying session #1 ENDS
1-2pm- LUNCH break!
2pm- START Qualifying session #2.
6pm- Qualifying session #2 ENDS
7pm- AMATEUR (B) DIVISION FINALS
10pm- AMATEUR (B) DIVISION Awards ceremony!!
*The Pro-Am qualifying format will be group matchplay. Players will be seeded into groups initially based on their IFPA ranking. After the first round, groups will then be reseeded with similar scoring players from the previous round(s). We will play as many rounds as we can fit into the qualifying time allotted.
*Each round will be 4 players, playing 3 different games from multiple eras, (EM, SS, Modern).
*Scoring will be (4,3,2,1). Best scoring round possible per player is 12 points, where the least possible score is 3 points.
*Each group will have a scorecard that is to be turned in to the scorekeeper at the end of every 3 game round.
***Pro-Am AMATEUR (B) Finals format:
Head to head, best of 3, single elimination starting at 7pm.
(We'd like to accommodate a dinner break for all players, so this is slightly tentative based on when the last round is complete.)

Excited to have tweaked some things for the better, based on the players feedback from years. This should be a major opportunity to come out for a couple days and snag some serious IFPA points to lug home with ya!
