Florida‑Friendly Landscaping™ Part 1 introduces the first four core principles that help homeowners and gardeners create beautiful, low‑maintenance landscapes that protect Florida’s natural resources. Participants will learn how to choose the right plants, water efficiently, fertilize responsibly, and manage yard pests safely—all while saving time, money, and effort.

What Part 1 Covers

· Right Plant, Right Place — Learn how to select plants that thrive in Florida’s climate, soil, and light conditions.

· Water Efficiently — Discover irrigation strategies that reduce waste and support plant health.
