Floral Design Workshop with Palisade Posh

Who doesn’t love fresh flowers? Are you a gardener with a creative eye for flower arranging but no garden to speak of? Or are you looking for something fun to do that will bring a breath of sunshine into your home?

Palisade Posh is teaming up with Whitewater Hill Vineyards to offer its inaugural floral design workshop in celebration of the end of summer! Instruction includes tips on how to choose and arrange flowers to create a unique one-of-a-kind bouquet, yours to take home. Workshop leader, Kim Putnam will also share information on how to grow flowers, and which varieties are workhorses and which are show ponies! Flowers are locally sources from Posh Gardens, located on East Orchard Mesa. Space is limited to 10 participants, and the price includes one glass of wine from Whitewater Hill Vineyards.

The Posh Cutting Garden is a small boutique flower garden offering a variety of home-grown flowers in the spirit of the ‘Old English Cottage Garden”. We grow a variety of blooms including Dahlias, Chocolate Queen Anne’s Lace, Snap Dragons, Zinnias, Phloxes, Yarrow and seasonal Peonies and Mums. We also offer limited quantities of Roses, Irises, Daffodils and greenery from our herb garden. Still in its infancy, Posh Cutting Garden provides flowers both wholesale to local businesses as well as retail bouquets to individuals. Garden tours are available by appointment as are Garden Harvest Experiences.
