Located at the Brighton's renowned music venue Folklore Rooms, this special night will be filled with captivating storytelling, folky singalongs, and heartfelt collaborations as the musicians move between each other’s sets singing and playing together.

These international artists have interwoven creative journeys, having collaborated on projects and crossed paths around the world at various points in time, but this will be the first night they all perform on the same stage together. Don't miss this special gathering of folky tunes and connections as Flora Falls’ celebrate their first tour to the UK!

FLORA FALLS

Brea(AUS) and Dom’s (CAN) musical journey began under the vibrant Berlin sky, where fate brought them together at an Open Stage in 2019. After admiring each other’s solo work as singer-songwriters, they scheduled a songwriting session and took their first steps to becoming Flora Falls. Since then, this dynamic duo has embarked on an inspiring quest to discover their unique sound, releasing their second EP 'Hidden From You' in May 2023 which was featured on Radio Eins, Der Kultur Blog and FLUX FM. Touring extensively through Europe, the duo were also invited to join Folk Road Show and The Bland as support on their 2023 European tours. Their music is an intimate embrace, revealing deep emotions, sometimes with a refreshing touch of humor, and inviting listeners on a voyage of vulnerability and authenticity.

Their songs shine in a new light and remind us of Beth Gibbons (ex-Portishead) or Sufjan Stevens.

- Radio Eins, Germany

LAURA REZNEK

Laura Reznek has never liked to talk about herself. If you listen closely to her music, however, you’ll hear murmurs of naked disclosure — fragments of grief, anger, and complicated joy riddled through her melodies. In her new micro EP Leap Year (Birthday Cake Records), Laura wrestles with time during which everything and nothing happens, and the betrayal of boredom in the midst of life-changing loss. Laura layers meticulous arrangements with found sounds, crafting plush sonic textures that occasionally bristle with something darker.

Laura’s musical practice is rooted in interdisciplinary collaboration and a stubborn DIY aesthetic. While her favourite venues she’s ever played include a laundromat, bell tower, and leaky boat, her music has also been heard on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, CBC’s After Dark, charting on the NACC top 20, and in film and television including Netflix’s Tiny Pretty Things, received widespread critical acclaim.
