Flock

FLOCK is a mixed repertory performance featuring FWAFA’s auditioned student dance companies. This concert celebrates the community that dancers create with each other in the studio and brings it to the stage. FLOCK features a variety of styles of dance with captivating works by faculty, guest, and student choreographers. We hope you’ll flock to this concert to see works by guest choreographers including Matthew James (teacher and choreographer, Fort Worth) and Jennifer Mabus (teacher, choreographer and performer, Dallas). You’ll enjoy seven student choreographed dances, senior solos, faculty works, and a restaging of revive by Krista Langford, a work previously created for FWAFA dance companies in early 2021 and filmed due to the pandemic, reimagined for a live audience. FLOCK features performances by elementary, middle, and high school students, grades 4-12.
