Please join PETA supporters in a peaceful protest of the Carden Circus for their use of animals, including Betty, the world's most depressed elephant. Betty was torn from her home in Thailand as a baby and condemned to a lifetime of exploitation. The 56-year-old elephant has spent nearly four decades in chains under the Carden family, which drags her from town to town to force her to perform in circuses. Carden Circus needs to free her to a reputable sanctuary before it's too late and she potentially suffers from a fatal collapse. For more information about Betty please visit: https://www.peta.org/.../elephant-at-risk-of-fatal-collapse/

We have a required dress code! Please dress sharply in a PETA T-shirt, nice pants, and close-toed shoes. We must ensure that the focus remains on the animals without any distractions that could shift people’s attention. T-shirts will be available on-site for everyone.
All materials, such as posters, will be provided.
Please refrain from bringing dogs, as there might not be a comfortable place for them to lie down during the protest.
I hope to see you there!
Additionally, PETA would be delighted to treat you and other activists to dinner the day before, regardless of whether you can attend the protests or not. We will be meeting at Jacq & Diane’s Juice Box (3034 Grange Hall Rd, Holly, Michigan, USA 48442) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15th. I hope to see you there!
