Flint Handmade is hosting a Saturday Afternoon Yarn Brigade Meetup in partnership with MW Gallery on March 8, 2025 from 2-4pm.
Bring a project to work on in the company of other creatives! All craft mediums welcome...knit/crochet, cross stitch, beading, coloring, drawing, hand sewing, etc. No glue or glitter, please.
Light refreshments. Free admission. Open to the public.
MW Gallery staff will provide guided tours of their current exhibition "Figuratively Speaking" which highlights "artworks that tell a story. Drawn from the wide-ranging Mott-Warsh Collection, the exhibit includes work in a variety of media by acclaimed artists, such as Robert Arneson, Emilio Cruz, Richard Hunt, Ayanna Jackson, Isaac Julien, Titus Kaphar, Jacob Lawrence, Carolyn Mazloomi, Joshua Rainer, Amy Sherald, Mickalene Thomas, and Deborah Willis among others."
Parking available in lot off Court St. as well as street parking on Saginaw St.
Overflow parking available 1 block east in the surface lot at Harrison Ave. and Court St.
